Heavenly Father, you sent your only Son to be the helper of those who are bound in prisons, whether of steel or of mind and spirit. By his grace, inspire in me such love and trust toward you that I turn from the sin that has enslaved me, and live for the sake of all for whom Christ has come. Amen.
